OK! Magazine is reporting that Usher may be joining the hit show Dancing with the Stars to perform on the May 20 finale. While the news has yet to be confirmed by ABC, their TV Fanatic has learned that singing sensation Usher is slated to appear on the show’s final episode, where this season’s winner will be crowned! Usher’s number will feature three of DWTS’ professional female ballroom dancers, including the most recent vote off Karina Smirnoff. A DWTS spy says: “Usher asked her personally to be in the production.”
Hip hop royalty Usher, Kelly Rowland and Nelly managed to spend £110,000 on their friends at Amika nightclub in Kensington, West London. The bar bill last night included £16,000 jeroboams of white-gold Dom Perignon. Former Destiny's Child singer Kelly, 27, threw the party to celebrate her final night in London after a weekend of house-hunting in Chelsea, and the launch of new album Ms Kelly. She stepped out looking casual but glamorous in indigo jeans, a low-cut white top and high-heeled, open-toed sandals. Nelly and Usher both opted for jeans and loose t-shirts. The group arrived at about 11.30pm and partied until 4am. A fellow clubber said: "Kelly was fooling around with Nelly, trying on his cap and glasses and dancing. "They've been close friends since they did the Dilemma song together." When the stars arrived, the owner of Amika, in Kensington High Street, offered them a magnum of Cristal champagne costing £700. Much to his surprise Nelly, Kelly and Usher refused the bottle. Nelly was overheard saying: "We don't support Cristal." A member of the group explained they took the stance when the Cristal company director made some disparaging comments about hip-hop stars in 2006. The owner sent back the magnum bottles of Cristal and bought over four bottles of Dom Perignon instead. Usher and Nelly both performed at Radio 1's Big Weekend festival in Maidstone in Kent at the weekend. Alongside Madonna, Duffy and lesser known bands such as We Are Scientists and Vampire Weekend they played in front of a crowd of thousands. One Big Weekend is the UK's biggest free music festival.

Singer Usher, 29, appeared on the Jo Whiley Show on Radio 1 last Wednesday, May 7th. Usher spoke about being a new father to Usher Raymond V, 5 months, with wife Tameka Foster. When asked about parenthood Usher said he is really enjoying himself. Loving it! I'm just loving every minute of it. When also asked about his musical talent, Usher says that his son is already distracted by his new music video. He actually loves the video! We were trying to feed him this morning and couldn't get to him cause he wouldn't look away. That is one nosey baby!

R&B star Usher had his foot firmly in his mouth this weekend after shouting "Hello Manchester" to 20,000 music fans in Kent. The 29-year-old made the embarrassing geographical slip-up at the beginning of his set at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Maidstone, prompting boos from sections of the crowd. But the Love in This Club singer rebounded from the early setback to faultlessly preview some new material and reel off classic tracks. Usher's gig followed performances from the Fratellis, Goldfrapp and Robyn at Mote Park, which was host to the biggest free ticketed festival in Europe.
